Registration
All legal Dubai property developers need to be registered with the governing body that is called the Real Estate Regulatory Agency. A developer cannot function in Dubai without being registered with this body first. If the developer is a registered one, they should have no problem giving you a registration number to confirm it.

Payments and Transactions
When you buy a property or enter into any kind of transactions with property developers, we would recommend that you do it through the legal and right channel. If the developer that you are dealing with is genuine, they should not have an issue with it either. RERA requires that all money transactions are made through escrow accounts with financial institutions or banks approved by it only. Transactions made any other way are illegal. We would advise you to consider this very carefully.

Identification
The age old method of proof is always identification and it works well in this situation as well. We would advise every potential buyer to make sure that the Dubai property developers that he or she is dealing with have some form of identification. If the developer is genuinely registered with RERA, they will have an identity card to prove it. If they cannot provide you with this, you should trust your better judgment and stay away from making purchases with them.
